An ancestral weaving of a family’s journey from ancient times through the Mexican Revolution to the present.

The heirloom rebozo The Night Sky weaves through history with dance, song and drama. Día de los Muertos meets the Mexican Revolution meets up with Turkey Day!

 

The Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan founded in 1967 by Herminia Enrique and family and under the direction of Artistic Director Viviana C. Enrique Acosta is known for its exquisite style and commitment to preserving the indigenous aspects of Mexican folklore.  The BFA is also recognized for teaching dance and culture to thousands of children and presenting ballet folklorico through-out the region.
